McMillin Elementary PTA is hosting our biggest event of the 2024-2025 school year! The annual Spring Carnival is back with games, food trucks, and more! This event is open to all Beagles and their families* - the more the merrier!
*all students need to be accompanied by an adult - this is NOT a drop off event
Several of our after school clubs will be showcasing some great performances! Come and check out:

COST:
Admission is FREE! Awesome attractions such as face painting, a balloon twisting artist, photo booth and video 360 will be available at NO COST! Wristbands for unlimited use for carnival style games and laser tag will be available for purchase.
$10 per wristband
SKIP THE LINES AND GET YOUR WRISTBAND(S) NOW! - Pre-sales are available for McMillin Students ONLY. Wristbands will be delivered to your child’s classroom and will be put on prior to dismissal on the day of the event. This means that they will be able to enjoy all of the attractions immediately upon arrival!

***Please be advised that LOST WRISTBANDS will require the purchase of a replacement wristband and you will need to stand in line at the ticket booth to do so.***
All other family members wanting to play games and laser tag will need to purchase wristbands in-person at the event ticket booth (cash & card payment will be accepted). NOTE: Ticket booth will close at 6:15pm
FOOD:
PTA will be selling pizza and refreshments (*CASH ONLY ~ small bills appreciated*). A wide variety of delicious food vendors will also be onsite who may accept alternate payment methods for their items.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We are also in need of several adult and high school volunteers! Please consider signing up for a shift! All volunteers will receive detailed information the day prior to the event.

SOMETHING NEW THIS YEAR~ CAKE WALK !
In lieu of silent auction baskets, we decided to host a Cake Walk Fundraiser instead! We are looking for donations for up to 5 cakes per classroom. Please consider contributing to help McMillin PTA cover carnival expenses and raise funds for next year. Sign up with your child’s teacher and/or Room Parent.
***Cakes should be store bought and at least 6” in diameter or comparable.***

Carnival attendees will be able to purchase tickets in-person to participate in the Cake Walk to win a cake, which will help raise funds for McMillin PTA to help cover carnival expenses and start next year’s budget. Thanks in advance for your support!
SILENT AUCTION:
We will be hosting a silent auction for front row seats to the kindergarten and 6th grade promotion ceremonies. Cash & card payments will be accepted for the winning bids.
EXCLUSIVE GIVEAWAY DRAWINGS FOR PTA MEMBERS:
PTA Members will have their own exclusive opportunity drawing as a thank you for their support for the school year! More details to follow.

Spring Carnival 2025 FAQ’s
Where do we check-in?
Check-in is not required since there is no admission cost to enter the event.
Will the back gate be open?
Yes, but will be secured at approximately 5:30pm and will be open at the top of every hour for 10 minutes to accommodate any late arrivals or early departures.
Can siblings attend?
Yes! All family and friends are welcome!
What time should we arrive?
The event begins at 5:00pm. The ticket booth for in-person wristband sales will open at 4:45pm.
Will there be food there?
Yes, PTA will be selling pizza and refreshments - CASH ONLY (small bills appreciated). A variety of other food vendors will be there and may accept alternate payment methods.
Are there any free activities?
YES: face painting, balloon artists, photo booth, video 360 and more are all free attractions.
How much does it cost to play games?
Wristbands for UNLIMITED use for carnival games and laser tag are available for purchase for $10. (What a great deal!)
Where do I buy a wristband?
Pre-sale wristbands for McMillin Students ONLY can be purchased until Thursday, May 15th at 6pm.

Can I purchase a pre-sale wristband for my other child(ren) that doesn't attend McMillin?
No, unfortunately. They will need to be purchased at the ticket booth in-person the day of the event.
If I’m a parent/adult accompanying my child/student, do I need a wristband?
Not unless you plan on playing any of the games. Only attendees with wristbands will be allowed to participate in the games.
